Knight of cups!
Knight of cups!
Knights are known to be brave, courageous, valiant and
always fighting for what they believe is justice. Cups as a suit is known to be
one that associates a lot with emotions. So the direction that this card bends
in is one of being bold towards understanding and working with your emotions.
I remember pulling this card so many times as I am a very emotionally aware
being. If I were to point out one particular instance where this card helped me
out a ton must be the time when I was facing upheaval around connecting with
women. I was a very shy being with a lot of inhibitions and insecurities when
it comes to connecting with women. I have had these insecurities for over ten
years now and this card really helped me bring to awareness these insecurities.
It was being hurt in the past that really limited me from
meeting and talking to women. I had stopped tapping into my emotions and my
needs around that intimacy that had been lacking in my life. Bringing in
bravery and courage towards my emotions has really helped me down the line in
forming some true connections and companionship with women. It was not an easy
journey to again start opening up my heart to the possibility of hurt and rejection,
but unless I did so, I would not have found the right connections that have
over time helped me grow and transform.
At first, I started relapsing into my comfort zone of again
not talking and opening up to women but the more I fought my fears and faced
them, the more of a natural habit it started becoming. In today’s time I have a
lot of female friends, which I must say is an essential in life, to be friends
with the opposite gender. You learn so much from people and to limit it to only
half of the population is like doing injustice to yourself. The opposite gender
as a natural rule of the law of the world, thinks very differently and there is
a whole new scope of learning that is opened through it.
This card could also aim towards listening to your heart and being brave
towards your passions and desires. Could also aim at being brave and commanding
your emotions, as an example, in a work environment where you are being hesitant
towards someone or a project, to be brave and to face these emotions in order
to get this project over the line.
Carry your heart on your sleaves into any battle that stands
before you!!!
